The TeamPulse SuiteCRM dashboard is the default landing page and serves as your behavioral command center. Unlike traditional CRM reports that list rows of historical data, this view organizes behavioral insights into actionable layers, allowing sales managers to diagnose the “why” behind revenue performance before pipeline damage occurs.

Introduction: Why the Dashboard Matters
The Dashboard surfaces behavioral truths instantly. It solves the pain point of information overload by transforming raw SuiteCRM activity – calls, meetings, tasks, and opportunities – into a holistic view of organizational health. By monitoring leading indicators like discipline scores and momentum rather than lagging indicators like closed revenue, managers can intervene early when a rep’s process begins to slip.
Detailed Breakdown: The 8 KPI Dashlets
The top row of the Dashboard features eight interactive dashlet mini-widgets. These provide a high-level snapshot of team performance and serve as gateways to deeper analytics.
1. Team Health
This dashlet displays the team’s Average Discipline Score (0-100). It represents collective process adherence across all members. The system benchmark for a healthy team is a score of 70 or above (“Standard” performance benchmark).
2. At-Risk Reps
This metric tracks the count of reps with a discipline score of 49 or below. These individuals are showing critical behavioral breakdowns and require immediate management intervention.
3. Active Signals
This shows the total number of behavioral warnings (Critical, Warning, and Positive) detected across the team during the selected time period. It quantifies the total volume of alerts currently firing in the system.
4. Deal Hygiene
The Deal Hygiene dashlet measures the percentage of open deals that have been touched (via call, meeting, task, or note) within the last 14 days. A drop in this percentage is a reliable predictor of pipeline rot and potential revenue misses in the following 2-3 weeks.
5. Momentum
Momentum is a directional trend indicator. It shows whether the team’s average discipline score is rising (Growing), holding steady (Stable), or falling (Declining) compared to the previous period.
6. Top Performer
This dashlet recognizes the rep with the highest discipline score for the current period. It highlights consistent process adherence, serving as a benchmark for the rest of the team.
7. Recommendations
This tracks the count of prioritized coaching actions waiting for review. These are derived from either the deterministic InsightEngine or configured AI providers.
8. Risk Level
The Risk Level is a composite signal – ranging from Low to Critical – calculated by aggregating the count of at-risk reps, active signals, and overall pipeline hygiene.
The Intelligence Treemap (Behavioral Map)
The Intelligence Treemap provides a visual grid of every rep in the organization, allowing you to spot outliers instantly.

Tile Size
The size of each rep’s tile in the grid can be configured based on specific data dimensions, such as Risk Level or Activity Volume, to emphasize the most critical data points.
Tile Color
Tiles are color-coded based on the rep’s discipline score:
- Green (score >= 75): High Discipline
- Amber (score 50-74): Moderate Discipline – Watch Territory
- Red (score < 50): Critical / At-Risk
Border Glow (Momentum Indicator)
The border of each tile indicates the rep’s Momentum State:
- Green Glow (?): Growing Momentum – activity volume increased >10% week-over-week
- Red Glow (?): Declining Momentum – activity volume dropped >20%
Score Bands Reference
| Score Range | Band | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 90-100 | Exceptional | Elite process discipline |
| 70-89 | Strong / Standard | Meets benchmark; maintain and reinforce |
| 50-69 | Needs Coaching | Process gaps identified; coach proactively |
| 0-49 | Critical / At-Risk | Immediate intervention required |
How to Use the Dashboard
Interacting with the Dashboard is designed to be intuitive and fast:
- Global Filters: Use the Team Selector in the top bar to switch between different sales groups (e.g., Midmarket, Enterprise, or SMB teams).
- Time Period Toggles: Use the 1W, 2W, 1M, or Custom filters to adjust the analysis window.
- Dashlet Interaction: Click any of the 8 KPI dashlets to navigate directly to the corresponding full-page view (e.g., clicking “At-Risk Reps” opens the Coaching Signals view).
- Drilling Down: Click any rep tile in the Intelligence Treemap to open the Member Drill view, where you can see their 5-factor score breakdown and specific activity bars.
- Manual Refresh: While the board auto-refreshes every 5 minutes, you can trigger an immediate update by clicking the Refresh icon in the top header.
Note: Dashboard layout customization is planned for v1.0 and is not available in the current release (v0.9.9).
Next Steps & Management Decisions
After reviewing the Dashboard, take the following proactive steps:
- Identify Critical Outliers: Look for large Red tiles in the Intelligence Treemap. These represent high-volume or high-risk reps showing behavioral decline.
- Address At-Risk Reps: If the “At-Risk Reps” count is greater than zero, navigate to Coaching Signals to identify the specific process gaps.
- Check Hygiene: If the “Deal Hygiene” percentage drops, schedule a pipeline review to address stale deals or missing next steps.
- Acknowledge Top Performers: Use the “Top Performer” dashlet to identify reps who deserve public recognition for maintaining high process discipline.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
Why does a rep have a high discipline score but a “Declining” Momentum border?
The Discipline Score is a snapshot of process adherence over the selected period. Momentum tracks velocity. A rep may have a high score due to past performance but has recently stopped logging activity, creating a declining trend. These two signals together indicate a rep who is coasting – an early warning to act now.
Why is the “No Data” message appearing on my dashlets?
This is typically caused by one of three things:
- Sync Delay: Initial data fetch can take 1-2 minutes.
- Permissions: Ensure you have “Read” access to the Opportunities, Tasks, and Calls modules in SuiteCRM.
- Date Filter: Ensure the global filter isn’t set to a future date range or a period with no logged activity.
How often does the Dashboard update?
The Dashboard automatically refreshes every 5 minutes to ensure you are viewing the most current behavioral data available in SuiteCRM.
What version is this guide for?
This guide covers TeamPulse v0.9.9 for SuiteCRM. In demo mode, the system populates with 25 fictional reps across three teams (Midmarket, Enterprise, and SMB) for evaluation and training purposes.
