The TeamPulse member drill view is the deepest level of individual behavioral data within the platform. Accessible by clicking any rep tile on the Dashboard or a row in the Leaderboard, it provides a granular diagnostic for every individual on the team – surfacing activity patterns, process discipline, and momentum shifts that generic CRM reports miss entirely.

Introduction: Why the Member Drill View Matters
Generic CRM reports fail to explain why a sales representative is underperforming – they focus only on the lagging indicator of revenue. The Member Drill View solves this by surfacing underlying behavioral patterns so managers can move beyond anecdotal feedback and intervene with data-backed coaching before pipeline damage occurs.
Detailed Breakdown: What You See
Score Ring & Header
The top of the view features the rep’s total Discipline Score (0-100), full name, role, and email. The score ring is color-coded based on the performance tier:
- Green (score >= 75): Strong performance – maintain and reinforce
- Amber (score 50-74): Needs Coaching – process gaps identified
- Red (score < 50): Critical / At-Risk – immediate intervention required
Below the primary score, five sub-rings represent the specific breakdown of each core discipline factor.
Five Factor Breakdown
This section quantifies process adherence across five weighted pillars. Each factor is scored 0-100:
| Factor | Weight | What It Measures |
|---|---|---|
| Follow-up Consistency | 25% | Speed of response to leads and deals; reliability of task logging after meetings |
| Task Completion | 20% | Ratio of tasks completed on time versus overdue |
| CRM Update Frequency | 15% | How often the rep logs calls, meetings, and updates opportunities |
| Deal Hygiene | 20% | Proportion of open deals touched within a rolling 14-day window |
| Activity Continuity | 20% | Daily cadence of work – identifies multi-day gaps in CRM activity or logins |
Performance Trajectory (Momentum Chart)
This line chart visualizes the rep’s Discipline Score trend over the last 8 weeks:
- Solid Line: Represents the actual score over time
- Dashed Lines: Indicate behavioral threshold markers for context
- Purpose: Detect sharp declines that correlate with lost momentum or potential burnout before they manifest as missed targets

Activity Bars
Horizontal bars provide raw activity counts for the selected time period:
- Calls: Total number of calls logged
- Meetings: Number of meetings held
- Tasks Done: Successfully completed tasks
- Tasks Overdue: Number of tasks currently past their due date
Coaching Feed & Alerts
A prioritized list of behavioral flags generated specifically for this rep by the Coaching Signal Engine:
- Critical (Red): Requires immediate intervention – e.g., “3 deals stalled >30 days”
- Warning (Amber): Requires close monitoring – e.g., “Follow-up delay increased by 1.2 days”
- Positive (Green): Recognizes achievements – e.g., “Activity up 15%”
Deal Hygiene Panel
This panel lists specific opportunities in SuiteCRM that are dragging down the rep’s score:
- No Next Step: Open deals with zero future tasks, calls, or meetings scheduled
- Stalled: Deals that have remained in the same stage longer than 14 days (default threshold)
- Expired Close Date: Deals where the expected close date is in the past
Note: Advanced scatter-plot Correlation Analysis (which correlates activity volume against win rate) is available as a separate view in the Analytics group – not a panel within the Member Drill View.
Score Bands Reference
| Score Range | Band | Coaching Action |
|---|---|---|
| 90-100 | Exceptional | Reinforce and recognize publicly |
| 70-89 | Strong / Standard | Maintain cadence; identify one stretch factor |
| 50-69 | Needs Coaching | Schedule a focused 1:1 on the lowest factor |
| 0-49 | Critical / At-Risk | Immediate intervention; escalate if no improvement |
How to Use the Member Drill View
- Filter by Time Period: Use the 1W, 2W, 1M, or Custom filters in the top bar to analyze different pulse windows.
- Interact with Signals: Click a signal card to open a quick-action panel. Click “Mark Reviewed” to dim the signal and clear it from the primary feed after discussing it with the rep.
- Initiate Communication: Use the action buttons at the bottom of the profile header to send a Coaching Note, Kudos, or Alert directly to the rep.
- Drill to SuiteCRM: Click the affected SuiteCRM record links within the Deal Hygiene or Signals panels to open the specific opportunity or task in a new tab for correction.
Next Steps & Management Decisions
After analyzing the Member Drill View, take one of the following proactive steps:
- Intervene on Stale Deals: If the Hygiene panel shows multiple deals with “No Next Step,” use the Assign Task button to mandate a follow-up action.
- Send a Coaching Note: If the Follow-up Consistency factor is low, send a coaching note via the Actions button suggesting a daily “Inbox Zero” block.
- Schedule a 1:1: If the Performance Trajectory shows a 3-week decline, use the Recommendations to prepare talking points for an immediate intervention.
- Positive Reinforcement: If the rep has a high score and a “Win Streak” signal, send Kudos to maintain high morale.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
Why are the activity bars showing zero when I know the rep was busy?
Verify the global Date Filter. If it is set to a range where no activities were logged (e.g., a future date or a weekend), the bars will be empty. Also ensure the rep is logging activities within the standard SuiteCRM modules – Calls, Meetings, and Tasks.
The rep’s score is low, but they just closed a huge deal. Why?
TeamPulse measures behavioral discipline, not revenue. A rep can close a deal through luck or legacy efforts while showing poor current habits such as overdue tasks or missing next steps. The low score is an early warning that their future pipeline is at risk.
How do I remove a signal that has been addressed?
Click the “Mark Reviewed” button on the signal card. This dims the signal and disables the button, indicating the coaching moment has been captured and logged.
Which roles can access the Member Drill View?
Admins and Managers can access the Member Drill View for any rep within their scope. Reps are redirected to their own self-view (My Performance) and cannot view other members’ drill profiles. There are three RBAC roles in TeamPulse: Admin, Manager, and Rep.
